Three in a row!
You're on a roll — show off your League matchup knowledge.
Hey, I'm Max, 27 years old, and I've been playing League since Season 3 (I peaked Emerald I last year). This is a side project I built because I think it can help a lot of people. It's a mix between a mini-game and a learning tool.
The goal is simple: guess who, on average, wins the matchup. Click on the winner and see if you got it right. If a champion is a hard counter, you'll get advice on how to play against it.
If you don't know where to start, try Train a Champion mode and see how well you really know your champion.
How the winrates work
Every matchup comes from OP.GG (Platinum+, Ranked Solo/Duo, one patch later to have as much data as possible), using only matchups with 400+ games.
But these aren't the raw OP.GG numbers. A raw winrate is skewed by how strong a champion is overall this patch: an OP champ looks like it "counters" everyone, even lanes it doesn't really win. So these numbers are delta-adjusted: each champion's general strength is stripped out, leaving only the lane matchup. What's left is who actually wins the lane, regardless of how strong they are in general.
Special thanks to my brother Alex for being the spark behind this project.
When you finish a Train a Champion run, that champion is added to your mastery collection. Their champion art lights up in the background mosaic, and they appear here with a rank based on your accuracy.
